There are two Kayaks and a Canoe at GOOSE VILLA for
use of our guests. The Kayaks hang on the wall in the garage and the Canoe
is stored outdoors. The paddles for all are in the garage.
You can launch the Kayaks and Canoe either at the Chicahauk launching site into
the canal or at the Southern Shores Marina into the Sound. We have
foam blocks and straps for carrying on top of your car.
 The
Chicahauk launching site is off Trinite Trail. Go past the tennis courts and
take the next left which is Gravey Pond Lane. At the circle go to the left and
you will come to a launching area at the canal.
The Southern
Shores launching area is off of Dogwood Trail. Go down Chicahauk Trail and
then take a left on Route 12 (Duck Road). Stay on Duck Road till you reach
Dogwood Trail. Take Dogwood Trail to the left and continue to the T where you
will take a left. The first right will be the Marina. Be sure to have your
Southern Shores Pass with you.
