| Pasta with Pesto |
| 1 pkg green house fresh basil |
| 1/3 c pine nuts or walnuts |
| 2 cloves garlic |
| 1/3 cup olive oil |
| 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated) |
| 3/4 lb pasta |
| Bring a large pot of water to boil, cook pasta according to package directions while you prepare the Pesto, Place fresh basil (leaves only) along with nuts and garlic in a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped. With the machine running, pour in the olive oil in a thin stream. Add the cheese, salt and pepper to taste and process briefly to combine. Thin with 2 tbsp hot water. Toss Pesto with hot pasta (cooked and drained and serve. Serves 3, |
